What people think of Surgical Auto Repair

I wish I would read these testimonials before I took my car there. I'm so disappointed with my experience there. One of these guys on the testimonials is talking about losing 5,000 dollars there was shocking, that should of been a red flag for me but I thought a family business was real. They need to change their mission statement, they say that they do the job right the first time, I went back and forth a couple of times and it always cost me money. After being out 1700 dollars my problem still exists. ...

I used Surgical Auto a few years back. I spent over $5,000 to keep my car on the road for the next several years. Instead I wound up losing my car which I just finishing paying off. I carefully ask them is the car worth keeping and the answer was yes. After my initial visit everything went wrong with my car. I kept bringing it back and they did figure out what was wrong with it until it completely broke down. I have been without a car for over 2 years thank to the poor service not to mention out of $5,000. ...

I was not given any reimbursement for the lost of my car after getting an assortment of work done on it by them. Is that any way to run a family owned business. They sure look at the people. I'm a single dad with a daughter.

advertised special. When I objected, Sandra, the owner, offered a discount on my next oil change as refunding me would cost them $35 she said. If doing business means gouging your customers, I certainly won't be returning. I know many mechanics who charge less for an oil change and tire rotation and certainly don't claim it costs them an arm and a leg to do a refund -nobody would do refunds if it cost that much. Thanks for a terrible experience. Never going back.
